My role is to educate, guide, and support you in achieving sustainable nail and foot health. ⸻ 📋 Booking & Consultation Requirements To maintain the highest standard of care, I follow a strict intake and review process. Please read all service descriptions carefully before submitting a request. 1. Structured Manicures / Nail Rehab A clear photo of your bare natural nails is required for preliminary assessment. 2. Paramedical Pedicures / Dry E-File Pedicures Photos must clearly show: • Toenails • Skin between the toes • Heels 3. Photo Submission Deadline Required photos must be submitted within 48 hours of your request. Incomplete requests will be automatically removed. 4. Manual Review & Confirmation All appointment requests are personally reviewed. An appointment is only confirmed once you receive a text confirmation from me. ⸻ 🛡️ Health & Safety Policies • Specialized Care Clients presenting with advanced calluses, heel fissures (cracked heels), corns, or nail plate irregularities will be directed to the Paramedical Pedicure, which focuses on cosmetic management and refinement of compromised areas. • Scope of Practice I am a Rhode Island–licensed manicurist providing cosmetic nail services only, in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Board of Hairdressing & Barbering. I am not a podiatrist or medical provider and do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. When deemed necessary for client safety and regulatory compliance, written clearance from a licensed podiatrist may be required prior to performing any cosmetic service. In compliance with Rhode Island state regulations and within my licensed scope of practice, I do not perform the following: • Removal of ingrown toenails • Removal of nails • Cutting, excision, or debridement of calluses using blades or sharp instruments All services are performed for cosmetic purposes only and may be refused if a condition presents beyond the scope of a licensed manicurist or poses a risk to client health or safety. • Hygiene Standards Safety is non-negotiable. Clients with visible nail irregularities (including suspected fungal conditions or athlete’s foot) are required to use personal tool kits to maintain a controlled and sterile environment. ⸻ ⚠️ Preparation & Cancellations • Bare Nails Required Please arrive with nails free of polish, gel, acrylic, or other enhancements. • No DIY Removal Do not peel, pry, or forcefully remove enhancements, as this causes damage to the natural nail plate. • Cancellation Policy If product is present at your initial appointment, the service will be canceled and the full service fee will apply. ⸻ ⏳ Service Details • Service Duration Quality care requires time. All services are a minimum of 1.5 hour. • Maintenance Schedule • Manicures: every 3–4 weeks • Pedicures: every 4–6 weeks • Aftercare Responsibility Consistent home care is essential. Cancellation Policy

Will I be charged before the service? You will be charged a deposit upon booking your appointment. The deposit is non-refundable. The amount of your deposit will be applied to the cost of your service at the time of your appointment. If you need to cancel, you will lose your deposit and an additional cancellation fee may apply. What happens if I'm a no show or cancel? You will lose your deposit and may also be charged a cancellation fee. Nails By Nara has a 30% cancellation policy that may be applied. The cancellation fee is calculated on the total appointment value. Please provide as much notice as possible it you are unable to make it. Will I get my deposit back? No. The deposit is non-refundable. The amount of your deposit will be applied to the cost of your service at the time of your appointment. If you need to cancel, you will lose your deposit and an additional cancelation fee may apply.
